SITE DETAILS
An existing wastewater treatment plant utilizing a series of
lagoon for treatment had very high levels of ammonia at the end
of the treatment process. The State DEQ required that the City
reduce the levels of ammonia before discharging in to the
river. Refreshing the sewage by pumping back up to the
head-works and running it through the treatment process again
was the design, thus requiring a lift station. Romtec Utilities
was the solution.
High levels of ammonia in the City's sewage lagoons required
that a lift station be constructed to recirculate the sewage to
reduce the high levels of ammonia.
