The Rockefeller Group purchased 7.81 acres of improved land in order to build the Airway Industrial Park in Otay Mesa, California. The land and the development were for a 135,621 square foot distribution center.

For their new development, the location was in need of a Romtec Utilities stormwater lift station to collect runoff water from the building and parking lot areas.

The site of the new development is close to the Santa Clara River, driving the need for all the stormwater runoff to be collected and treated in order to keep contaminated water from making its way into the Santa Clara.
Orange County | Stormwater Lift Station
1347 GPM | 72′ TDH
This project is a new lift station handling low flows in the Santa Ana Delhi Channel in Newport Beach, California. This system collects stormwater in a 10’ inner diameter (ID) wet well that reaches 32’ in depth. In the bottom of the well, three Ebara 20 horsepower (HP) submersible pumps sit ready to pump out the water.

Manufacturing
Romtec Utilities provides a high level of system prefabrication prior to delivery of the system to the jobsite. This high level of prefabrication can often reduce installation time from weeks to days. Additionally, Romtec Utilities takes pride in our quality control processes, ensuring that when the system is delivered to the job site everything will function as designed.
Construction
Romtec Utilities ensures the quality and success of every pumping system from the early stages of design, all the way through installation and construction. Romtec Utilities will send experienced installation advisors to the site who will advise the installing contractor throughout the installation process providing all parties with the reassurance that the station is constructed and ultimately functioning as designed.
Commissioning
Romtec Utilities’ startup, testing, and training services are essential to the success of any pumping system. Following installation our technicians are on-site working directly with all parties to field check the control panel, operate the pumps, perform system testing, and provide world class training to all maintenance personnel.
Warranty
