Motor Control Center (MCC)

Description:

Romtec Utilities designs UL845 Listed Motor Control Centers (MCC) for use in all types of pumping applications. A motor control center (MCC) is an assembly to control electric motors in a central location. It consists of multiple enclosed sections having a common power bus and with each section containing a combination starter, which in turn consists of motor starter (soft starters or variable frequency drives), fuses or circuit breaker, and power disconnect. In addition, the MCC can house the pump controls along with with the generator automatic transfer switch if required.
