Parking Lot Drainage
Stormwater Collection & Discharge Systems for Parking Lots & Impervious Surfaces
You Can Pump Storm Events or Pump to Detention/Discharge
Stormwater pump stations for parking lot drainage or building drainage can be engineered to pump the event or to pump to a discharge point at a specified rate. Pumping the storm event means that the system will effectively “ramp up” its pumping to match the flow incoming from the parking lot storm drain.
Romtec Has Experience & Expertise Engineering Pump Stations for Stormwater
When it comes to parking lot drainage and other stormwater, Romtec Utilities completes several of these projects every year. Romtec’s engineers understand parking lot drainage pump stations. We make sure your pump station functions exactly as needed at your specific location.

200 GPM | 12.4′ TDH
NLA Spring Valley LLC was constructing a commercial development and in need of a stormwater lift station. This Romtec Utilities stormwater pump system was needed for small and 100-year storm events for a commercial development.
Sprouts at Mira Mesa | Low-Flow Stormwater Pump Station
54 GPM | 29′ TDH
Sprouts, a new health-focused grocery store at the Mira Mesa Mall in San Diego, California required a new stormwater pump station to handle low flows of stormwater.
Long Beach Exchange Retail | Five Identical Stormwater Pump Stations
150 GPM | 15.9′ – 18.7′ TDH
Romtec Utilities designed and supplied five stormwater pump stations for a new commercial development in Long Beach, California. All five of the pumping systems are nearly identical and are engineered with Ebara 2 hp submersible pumps.
Westfield Valley Fair Mall | Parking Lot Stormwater Runoff Pump Station
31 GPM | 10.7′ TDH
The revitalization of a large mall in Santa Clara, CA required a new pump station to handle low flows of stormwater runoff from a section of the parking lot. This system utilized an economic design with a 4-foot ID precast concrete wet well, schedule 80 PVC discharge piping, and small ½ hp Weil pumps in a duplex configuration.
Bay 101 | Six Low-Flow Stormwater Pump Stations
31-187 GPM | 10.2′-20.6′ TDH
The new Bay 101 casino required 6 stormwater pump stations to handle low flows of stormwater in San Jose, California. Each pump station will help serve new hotels as this casino facility expands.
