V.C. Summer Nuclear Station|Jenkinsville, SC|35 GPM - 33.6' TDH

jweddell5gpm - 50gpm, Eastern, Industrial, Industrial Process Water featured, Industrial Water, Power Generation, Process Water

This package lift station was configured to handle low flows of industrial process water used for nuclear power generation. This lift station was one of the earliest systems to be installed during the construction of two new reactors at the plant. Submersible grinder pumps in a duplex configuration and a below grade valve assembly comprise the principal mechanical operations of the station. An outdoor control panel utilizes floats for primary liquid level-sensing, and an autodialer for communications and alarm notification.

Eagle Park Acres|Madison County, IL|123 GPM - 21' TDH

jweddell100gpm - 300gpm, Central, Residential Development, Sewer System Expansion, Urban Growth, Wastewater

A large neighborhood received these two lift stations that were designed to handle medium sewage flow requirements. The submersible solids-handling pumps in duplex configurations were specified to handle influent from three inlet lines from different sections of the neighborhood. The below-grade valve assemblies hold the system operation valves, bypass pumping ports, and shut-off valves. The outdoor UL listed control panels utilize pressure transducers and redundant float controls for liquid level-sensing; basic alarms were included for communications.

King Sooper?s Marketplace|Fort Collins, CO|150 GPM - 6.8' TDH

jweddell100gpm - 300gpm, Mixed Use Development, Mountain, Wastewater

The food & drug store serving a nearby university needed this replacement package wastewater lift station for medium flow rates. Submersible solids handling pumps are designed to operate with suspended grease in the water from a cafeteria in the market. The lift station valves are vertically integrated into the sump discharge piping. An indoor UL listed control panel contains an intrinsically safe barrier for the in-well electrical controls, and an autodialer and basic alarm fulfill communication requirements. Floats are the primary and backup level-sensing control devices.

Bear River Band of the Rohnerville Rancheria

Tish Non Village|Eureka, CA|70 GPM - 21.6' TDH

jweddell50gpm - 100gpm, Municipal Collection, Pacific, Residential Development, Scalping & Membrane Bio-Reactor, Treatment Plants, Wastewater

The Bear River Band of Rohnerville Rancheria, a federally recognized tribe of the Mattole and Wiyot peoples, purchased this package wastewater lift station for a tribal community development. The submersible pumps are located in the bottom of a 14’ prefabricated fiberglass sump, and the below grade valve assembly is located in a 5’ deep round prefabricated fiberglass valve vault. An outdoor UL listed control panel includes floats for primary and backup level controls and an autodialer for system communications.

City of Shafter in California

The City of Shafter|Shafter, CA|110 GPM - 28.4' TDH

jweddell100gpm - 300gpm, Municipal Collection, Pacific, Sewer System Expansion, Wastewater

This package lift station is part of a sustained plan to expand the collection system of a large sewage treatment plant completed in 1999. The medium flow is handled by submersible solids handling pumps in a duplex configuration. A pigging port, plug valve, shut off valve, mechanical indicator, back flow actuator, and swing check valve are all contained in a below-grade valve vault. An outdoor control panel includes an autodialer for communications, conductive probes for level sensing, and an intrinsically safe barrier for in-well electrical controls.
