The completed cutter pump sewer lift station pumps up to 60 gallons per minute at 16 feet of total dynamic head. Romtec Utilities supplied a wet well measuring approximately 17 feet deep and 4 feet in diameter, creating a compact footprint that fit the site and the project’s low-flow conditions.
The project needed a lift station that could handle sewage from retail stores, a gas station, convenience uses, and nearby commercial facilities. The duplex Tsurumi cutter pump configuration slices stringy materials and wastewater solids before sending flow through the force main to a nearby gravity collection system.
