Lift Station Design Services
Romtec Utilities designs each package pump station for the unique conditions of every individual project. Our engineers take into account all the preferences and requirements of the customer to design a “site specific” package pump station. This includes all site information, regulatory agencies, design criteria, energy efficiency, ease of maintenance, installation considerations, and of course the cost of the system. Our design services are complimentary when a Romtec Utilities’ package pump station is purchased.
Lift Station Manufacturing
Romtec Utilities manufactures a complete pump station. This is not simply a package of parts. Our pump station supply and its documentation provide a fully functional pumping system that has a warranty for guaranteed operation. Additionally, Romtec Utilities has made a habit of manufacturing innovative items for pump stations. These include shelters, cable trays, stainless steel disconnect stands, installation guide brackets, and many more. Romtec Utilities strives to improve every aspect of a pump station.
Lift Station Construction & Installation
Romtec Utilities works closely with installation contractors to ensure our package pump stations are installed correctly. We send a construction advisor to every installation to answer questions and provide suggestions, but we do not perform any construction or installation duties. Romtec Utilities can act as a “turnkey” provider or general contractor where our advisor does manage the entire site preparation, construction, and installation of the package pump station.
Design Review and Approval
Romtec Utilities has designed thousands of pump stations and getting each station approved by a reviewing agency can potentially be drawn out. We work with each reviewing agency throughout the design phase to understand its preferences and standards. When our completed design document is presented with comprehensive submittals and engineering sheets in the CSI standard format, the time between review and approval is typically short.
Lift Station Repair & Retrofit
Romtec Utilities can design and supply repair and retrofit solutions for existing wastewater, stormwater, industrial process water, and clean water pump station systems. Every repair or retrofit solution is unique and will depend on the needs of each system. Romtec Utilities works with clients and their engineering firms to establish clearly defined needs and requirements and then creates a plan and design to meet them.
Lift Station Start Up & Training
Romtec Utilities performs the complete pumping equipment start up and testing to ensure our pump station operates as specified. After the pump station is in operation, the Romtec Utilities technician will provide training to specified personnel on operation and maintenance of the pump station. Each start up and training is unique to the specific pump station and typically lasts two days. Our technician also provides a complete O&M manual for the entire system and each major component.
