The City of Troutdale, Oregon is a gateway to the Historic Columbia River highway and the scenic Columbia River Gorge. However, affordable housing has been an issue as of late due to rent burden. Troutdale has redone its housing needs analysis which in turn has created an opportunity for more apartment housing.

The Eagle Ridge Apartments were developed by Sheldon Development, Inc., based out of Boring, Oregon, to help meet the need for more housing in Troutdale. There are 216 apartment homes in the complex. The apartments are close to I-84, Gresham, East Portland, the Sandy River, and the Mount Hood Scenic Byway.

The project needed a wastewater lift station for the private apartment complex that requires a privately owned and maintained pump station to serve the sewer for the site. The new apartment complex features contemporary interior finishes, a pool, a fitness center, and a car charging station.

Romtec Utilities designed, manufactured, and supplied the residential wastewater lift station for Sheldon Development.

Romtec Utilities focused on the use of high-quality pumps to minimize the chance of clogging or maintenance issues that arise in tough pumping environments.

All County Surveyors and Planners, Inc. was the civil engineer on the project. All County Surveyors is based out of Sandy, Oregon and has provided civil engineering, land surveying, water rights, and land use planning for over 23 years.

Oregon Underground, Inc. was the installing contractor. Oregon Underground is based out of Clackamas, Oregon and provides excavation contracting services.
