Project Description
This wastewater lift station was required to hand medium sewage flows from a development neighborhood by Smith River Rancheria, the governing body of the Tolowa Dee-ni’ Tribe. Two Goulds Water Technology 2 hp grinder pumps were used to meet the high head requirements for over 3,000 ft of force main. Why They Chose Romtec Utilities
Smith River Rancheria contacted Romtec Utilities to design, supply, and install this wastewater lift station. Smith River Rancheria chose Romtec Utilities because it valued working with a single entity that could manage the complete lift station scope of work from design to start-up. Working with LACO Associates (Civil E.), Romtec Utilities designed this lift station to handle high head pumping conditions through a long force main to a wastewater treatment facility. Romtec Utilities created precise equipment layouts on the LACO Associates’ site plan to allow an owner supplied control building to be installed. Using Romtec Utilities for installation services saved Smith River Rancheria time and money over a typical bid process.
