Snoqualmie Ridge Residential Development – Municipal Design Standards
Project Description
A new housing development in the City of Snoqualmie needed this wastewater lift station to handle low sewage flows and meet the City’s design standards. These standards specify a sophisticated control panel with NEMA 12 enclosures in an MCC configuration. This configuration separates the PLC controller and the high voltage motor starters. Duplex submersible pumps, a precast concrete wet well and valve vault, a below-grade valve assembly, and an above-grade disconnect panel with cable tray make up the other primary components for the City of Snoqualmie municipal lift station design standards.

Why They Chose Romtec Utilities
The Pulte Group and Centex Homes were referred to Romtec Utilities by the City of Snoqualmie as the package lift station engineering firm that could meet the City’s design standards. ESM Consulting Engineers provided Romtec Utilities with the design criteria for this lift station, and Romtec Utilities created a design submittal that would meet the developer’s budget and the City’s design standards. For the City of Snoqualmie, this process is a great way to help developers install wastewater lift stations that are easy to operate and maintain. For the Pulte Group, Romtec Utilities was able to meet expectations for budget while getting the lift station approved quickly so the development could move forward.
