The Michaels Mira Mesa project in San Diego, California was a new small stormwater lift station for commercial development. Brixmor Property Group is the owner of the development. Brixmor owns and operates almost 380 retail centers across the country. The lift station will service the stormwater runoff for the commercial development.

Kimley Horn and Associates was the site engineer who Romtec Utilities worked with on the sister system which is the Sprouts Mira Mesa project. We have also worked with Kimley Horn on Millenia Park and the Springwater Road Spring Valley projects. Kimley Horn provides planning and design consultants around the nation.

The general contractor on this project was Bergman KPRS. Bergman is based out of Brea, California, and provides full-service construction, construction management, and program management services.

Taylor Underground was the installing contractor. Taylor Underground also installed the Sprouts Mira Mesa project. Taylor Underground is based out of San Jacinto, California, and provides underground utility contractor services.
The lift station features Ebara submersible pumps, an alternator relay as the controller, and a NEMA 4 steel enclosure.
