This “turnkey” replacement lift station was designed, supplied, and installed to meet super-high sewage flow with infiltration and inflow requirements of a municipal wastewater lift station. Submersible solids-handling pumps in a triplex configuration were installed. The below-grade valve assembly includes plug valves, check valves, ball valves, a pumping port, and a pigging port. The UL listed control panel has an ultrasonic transducer for primary liquid level sensing, redundant float controls, and an autodialer alarm. VFDs were also included in the lift station controls.
Confederate Tribes of Grand Ronde|Grand Ronde, OR|400 GPM - 30' TDH
The Confederated Tribes of the Grande Ronde Community purchased this lift station to meet the medium sewage flows of a new housing development. Submersible solids handling pumps in a duplex configuration are protected from influent by two deflector panels on two inlet lines. A below-grade concrete valve vault provides easy access to the system valves, pressure gauges, actuators, and access ports. An outdoor UL listed control panel is protected by a shelter/shade structure. Liquid level-sensing is accomplished with a conductive probe and backup float controls.
Laura Chenel?s Ch?vre Cheese Plant|Sonoma, CA|90 GPM - 10.7' TDH
This gourmet goat cheese plant needed two lift stations configured to handle medium wastewater and industrial flows from the new production plant. Submersible solids handling pumps in duplex configurations are protected from turbulence and cascading influent by an inlet line drop bowl. A below-grade valve vault holds the valves, actuators, and junctions to the force main and, on one station, an included cleanout line. An indoor UL listed control panel contains an intrinsically safe barrier for electrical controls in the wet wells. These two systems were installed at grade for low-profiles.
Santa Barbara County|Goleta, CA|50 GPM - 28' TDH
Santa Barbara County needed this package lift station to replace an existing system serving a residential area next to Goleta Beach. Ebara submersible sewage pumps were engineered in a duplex configuration to alternate starts and create redundancy in the system. Liquid level-sensing also includes redundancy by using Dwyer floats as the primary control device and a Multitrode probe for high-level backup. A UL listed control panel uses a NEMA 4X stainless steel enclosure to be safely located outside of the existing control building.
The City of the Dalles | The Dalles, OR | 38 GPM - 28.2' TDH
The City of the Dalles required this replacement package lift station to meet medium flows of municipal wastewater. This lift station included submersible centrifugal pumps in a duplex configuration with the ability to handle some suspended solids. The control panel for this lift station includes SCADA software to interact with a remote telemetry unit (RTU). These two systems provide communications from the pressure transducer and conductive probe level sensing devices. They also communicate calculated flow rates and any voltage variances in from the power supply.
