A growing resort community with golf courses needed this Romtec Utilities package lift station to meet super high sewage flows with high head conditions. The resort has ample property for expansion and needed a wastewater lift station that would also expand. Two submersible solids handling pumps were included in the original supply, but the mounting hardware for a third pump in a triplex configuration was included to allow easy expansion as more condos are constructed. An outdoor control panel is protected by a shelter and utilizes a pressure transducer and backup floats for liquid level-sensing.
Clark County Public Works|Laughlin, NV|45 GPM - 66' TDH
A publicly funded greenway project required two package lift stations that were configured to meet the low flow, high head requirements for this park. Grinder pumps in duplex configurations will alternate between starts to reduce wear on the pumps and make time of operation equal.
Clark County, Washington|Vancouver, WA|198 GPM - 51' TDH
This package lift station was designed to meet municipal standards for medium sewage flows at this new commercial complex. The duplex pump configuration and solids-handling pumps provide suitable preventative measures for a reliable and long-term wastewater lift station. The below-grade valve assembly included swing check valves, a pigging port, and flow meters. An on-site permanent generator and sheltered outdoor PLC control panel provide robust and programmable lift station controls. An ultrasonic transducer and a two float backup comprise the liquid level sensing controls.
U.S. Army Base|Fort Lewis, WA|100 GPM - 10' TDH
This package lift station in Fort Lewis was configured to meet the medium flow requirements for a federal industrial process system with stormwater to treatment. Submersible centrifugal pumps are protected from turbulence by a drop bowl. A below-grade concrete electrical vault holds the disconnect panel and electrical connections. A drain-pipe allows this vault to double as a stormwater drain for the area around the lift station. An outdoor UL listed control panel includes a basic alarm, floats for liquid level-sensing, and a NEMA rated enclosure.
University of Oregon|Eugene, OR|350 GPM - 25' TDH
This package pump station was designed to meet low flows of stormwater expected after the expansion of this university building. The duplex pump configuration with submersible centrifugal pumps provides reliable and lasting pumping capabilities. A simple UL listed control panel with an intrinsically safe (IS) barrier and basic alarm was designed and supplied as a part of the electrical layout for this package pump station. This system was designed with four floats for liquid level-sensing and automatic starting and stopping of pumps on level
