The 1025 Sweetwater Road Spring Valley project is located in Spring Valley, California. NLA Spring Valley LLC was constructing a commercial development and in need of a stormwater lift station. The site engineer hired by NLA Spring Valley, Kimley Horn & Associates, brought this project to Romtec Utilities. Kimley Horn has worked with us on past projects, including the Michaels Mira Mesa and Sprouts Mira Mesa Mall projects.

NLA Spring Valley, also known as Net Lease Alliance, has provided “development capital and services in 23 states”. Their new commercial development at 1025 Sweetwater Road, Spring Valley will be home to Yoshinoya, according to Net Lease Alliance’s Facebook. Yoshinoya is a modern fast-food restaurant from Japan that has served rice bowls since their first restaurant opened in 1899.

It is a 4’ inner diameter (ID) wet well that is 10’ in depth. This simplex system has a solitary 2 horsepower (HP) Ebara Submersible Pump with a .33 HP Jockey Pump. The primary controller is configured for a simplex system and receives level readings from three NOLTA MS1 floats.

Romtec Utilities had the opportunity to work on this project with many great and knowledgeable agencies. In addition to NLA Spring Valley and Kimley Horn, Romtec Utilities also worked with Pacific Coast Builders (General Contractor) who was our direct customer and the County of San Diego, who reviewed the site to ensure compliance with the local building codes and standards.

This stormwater lift station will be owned and maintained by Net Lease Alliance, adding to their already impressive portfolio of developments.
