About Van Alstyne, Texas
This project was for a clean water booster skid for the City of Van Alstyne in Texas.
The City of Van Alstyne director of public works reached out directly from a referral. The current booster station was not meeting capacity.
The new skid will act as a booster station for one year. After that it will act as a transfer skid to fill a newly constructed water tower. The skid is fed by two above grade tanks and will be piped into an existing water main.
Romtec Utilities’ design is based on design criteria provided by the City of Van Alstyne. Controls and pumps were prefabricated and wired onto a skid.
The city was in a hurry to start pumping in May of 2024. The city worked directly with us without a civil engineer. They reviewed and approved the Romtec Utilities submittal.
