U.S. Army Corps of Engineers

U.S. Army Corps of Engineers|Coyote Valley Dam, CA|1,120 GPM - 150' TDH

jweddell1,000gpm - 5,000gpm, Municipal Collection, Pacific, Sewer System Expansion, Wastewater

This unique package wastewater lift station was designed to meet the high sewage flows of this US Army Corps of Engineers managed reservoir and nearby campgrounds. Vertical chopper pumps were engineered above the sump in a precast concrete structure with the above grade valve assembly. Two inlet lines were engineered with extra piping to direct influent toward the bottom of the sump. The structure also contains the UL listed control panel. Float controls were used for liquid level-sensing, and the control panel included soft starters typical for vertical shaft pumps.

Geothermal Power Facility in Nicaragua

Geothermal Power Plant|San Jacinto, Nicaragua|100 GPM - 24.9' TDH

jweddell50gpm - 100gpm, Power Generation, Wastewater

A commercially owned geothermal power facility in Nicaragua purchased this package lift station to meet its medium wastewater flows. Shipping the major components for this system required precise documentation and plans. Duplex submersible chopper pumps, in-well check valves, and plug valves with valve cans are some of the major below grade components of this system. The outdoor UL listed control panel utilizes floats for liquid level-sensing and includes an autodialer for communication. The complete Romtec Utilities package system was owner-installed as part of its phase I development.

U.S. Department of Agriculture|Greenridge, CO|120 GPM - 90' TDH

jweddell100gpm - 300gpm, Mountain, Resorts/ Golf Courses, Wastewater

The Green Ridge Campground purchased this lift station replacement that was configured to meet the medium sewage flow requirements of the site. Submersible solids handling pumps in a duplex configuration are protected from influent and turbulence by an inlet line drop bowl. An in-ground valve vault provides easy access to the system valves, actuators, and access port. A UL listed control panel employs float controls for liquid level-sensing and includes an autodialer and basic alarm. The panel was installed on the exterior wall of an existing building.

City of Camas Washington

Holt Homes | Camas, WA | 415 GPM - 117' TDH

jweddell300gpm - 500gpm, Municipal Collection, Pacific, Residential Development, Sewer System Expansion, Urban Growth, Wastewater

A large residential development required this package lift station to meet the high sewage flows for over 330 residential lots. Two inlet lines are fitted with deflector panels to reduce the in-well turbidity and protect the duplex submersible solids handling pumps from cascading influent. A below-grade valve vault contains the system valves, access ports, and pressure gauges. A sheltered, outdoor control panel utilizes a pressure transducer and backup conductive probe for liquid level-sensing and is connected to an emergency backup generator.
