San Tan Valley is a community in northern Pinal County in Arizona, that is just 45 miles to the southeast of Phoenix.

In the latest 2020 census this city had a population of 99,894, making it the largest unincorporated municipality in Pinal County.

The community gets its name from the nearby San Tan Mountains where there is a regional park that features Rock Peak Wash Trailhead and Goldmine Trailhead. The San Tan Mountain Regional Park has over 10,000 acres of desert with trails, wildlife viewing, and a visitor center.

The Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport is about 13 miles to the north. This area features various attractions including the Golf Club at Johnson Ranch, Copper Basin Family Gym, and Encanterra Golf Course.

The Bella Vista Farms is a new residential subdivision in San Tan Valley that was developed for the expanding area. The development needed a large wastewater lift station for the subdivision in Arizona.

Lee’s Pipelines who were the utilities contractor reached out to Romtec Utilities for pricing on a control panel, level sensing, generator, and automatic transfer switch.

This was a fast-moving project as Lee’s Pipelines had already begun sourcing the lift station componentry prior to reaching out to Romtec Utilities and was looking to install the wet well in a matter of months. They wanted Romtec Utilities to supply the equipment for installation in a quick turnaround timeline to keep the project moving forward.

The control panel features a NEMA 3R PAINTED STEEL, 3 POINT LOCKING LATCH – MAIN DISCONNECT CIRCUIT BREAKER WITH LOCKOUT PROVISIONS – COMPACTLOGIX PLC – TRANSIENT VOLTAGE SURE PROTECTION – COLOR HMI – E&H FLOW METER – UL LISTED.

The engineer for this project was HilgartWilson, LLC. HilgartWilson is a civil engineer based out of Phoenix, Arizona. The end owner of the wastewater lift station is Bella Vista Farms Community Association.

The developer of the Bella Vista Farms subdivision was El Dorado Holdings, Inc.

El Dorado Holdings is a developer based out of Scottsdale, Arizona providing property development services.
