City of Portland – Wastewater Pump Station
Wastewater Pump Station Project Description
Portland, Oregon is known for its excellent food, coffee, and beer culture but also for its bikeable neighborhoods that are close to downtown.
That is the case for Halsey 28 apartments which is located off of NE 28th Avenue and Halsey Street in the Sullivans Gulch neighborhood. The Halsey 28 apartments are minutes from the Lloyd Center, the Oregon Convention Center, the Moda Center, the Willamette River, and downtown Portland.
Halsey 28 apartments feature 51 units including studios and one-bedroom apartment homes with quartz and granite countertops and energy efficient windows.
The apartments are close to Interstate 5 and Interstate 84 for quick access to the great Northwest along with many local breweries, specialty grocers, mass transit, coffee shops, stores, and restaurants.
The Halsey 28 apartments needed a new wastewater pump station as part of the project which Romtec Utilities designed and supplied.
SK Hoff was the general contractor of this apartment building. SK Hoff is a family-owned general contractor in the Portland market.
Humber Design Group was the civil engineer on this project. Humber is a civil engineer based in Portland, Oregon.
Westech Construction was the installing contractor of the wastewater pump station on behalf of SK Hoff. Westech brought Romtec Utilities this new project with a very quick turnaround. Westech Construction is based in Portland and provides demolition, underground utility construction, road construction, and shoring services.
We have worked with Westech Construction on a variety of pump station projects including 3rd and Maple, High Pass Meadows, Oaklea Meadows, Ocean Highlands, and Washington County Public Service Building.
