Indian Springs Resort – Wastewater Pumping
Project Description
The Indian Springs Resort needed two new lift stations designed to pump medium flows of sanitary sewer and wastewater to municipal treatment. Each system utilized a duplex pump configuration with Goulds pumps rated to meet the pumping requirements for each location. Each system came with its own UL listed control panel and an all-weather enclosure for outdoor operation. NOLTA floats were supplied as the primary level sensing devices, which were wired to be intrinsically safe. The wet wells were designed and suppled as precast concrete and valve cans were used for access to the operation valves on the discharge piping.

Why They Chose Romtec Utilities
Romtec Utilities began working with BKF Engineers representing the Indian Springs Resort in Calistoga, California. The total project scope called for two wastewater lift stations, a stormwater pump station, and a geothermal water flow meter vault. Romtec worked with BKF Engineers and the Indian Springs Resort to design and manufacture all four systems per City standards, including these two lift stations for wastewater. Carlisle Construction was the installing contractor and Romtec Utilities worked with them to deliver and install these lift stations in their schedule. Romtec Utilities also provided onsite commissioning of the systems with training for the Indian Springs Resort operators.
