Romtec Utilities designed this packaged wastewater lift station to meet the medium sewage flows of this giant yogurt manufacturing plant. This duplex lift station uses Ebara submersible centrifugal pumps designed for wastewater applications. The force main from this pump station to a pre-treatment facility is not long, creating low head conditions. The system valves are integrated into the discharge piping to simplify the design and lower the cost. An outdoor UL listed control panel is wall mounted to the side of the plant for easy, visible access.
The City of the Dalles | The Dalles, OR | 38 GPM - 28.2' TDH
The City of the Dalles required this replacement package lift station to meet medium flows of municipal wastewater. This lift station included submersible centrifugal pumps in a duplex configuration with the ability to handle some suspended solids. The control panel for this lift station includes SCADA software to interact with a remote telemetry unit (RTU). These two systems provide communications from the pressure transducer and conductive probe level sensing devices. They also communicate calculated flow rates and any voltage variances in from the power supply.
The City of the Dalles | The Dalles, OR | 8 GPM - 54' TDH
A growing resort community with golf courses needed this Romtec Utilities package lift station to meet super high sewage flows with high head conditions. The resort has ample property for expansion and needed a wastewater lift station that would also expand. Two submersible solids handling pumps were included in the original supply, but the mounting hardware for a third pump in a triplex configuration was included to allow easy expansion as more condos are constructed. An outdoor control panel is protected by a shelter and utilizes a pressure transducer and backup floats for liquid level-sensing.
City of Santa Barbara|Santa Barbara, CA|1,500 GPM - 66' TDH
This lift station serves a large area and was installed at Santa Barbara Municipal Airport as part of a larger project. Two submersible solids handling pumps are supported by a jockey pump that acts as a sump pump for periods of low flow. An impressive control building contains the UL listed control panel, a backup diesel generator and automatic transfer switch, electric meter main, and ferrous chloride odor controls. The electrical controls interface directly with the existing detailed SCADA system used by the Goleta Sanitary District.
Culbertson Power Plant|Culbertson, CA|100 GPM - 25' TDH
This power generation facility installed a package lift station designed for medium sewage flows of industrial wastewater. To protect the submersible solids-handling pumps, an inlet line deflector panel was included in the design. The wet well was protected from off-gassing and corrosion by an interlocking fiberglass lining. Conductive probes are used for primary and backup liquid level-sensing with an outdoor UL listed control panel. The panel is outfitted with a basic alarm and an autodialer for telecommunications.
