The Portside Phase 3 project was part of a new industrial development by Specht Development. Located in Vancouver, Washington, this industrial development was in need of a wastewater lift station and Perlo Construction, the awarded general contractor, brought this opportunity to Romtec Utilities.
Romtec Utilities often supplies lift stations for new developments. In the Harvest at Limoneira project, a new residential development in Santa Paula, California, was in need of a wastewater lift station with a large wet well.
The Mt. Rose Pump Station is a wastewater lift station in Reno, Nevada. This project was brought to Romtec Utilities by Stantec to develop the scope and configuration of the lift station. Ultimately, Romtec Utilities was used as the basis of design. At the time of bid, Romtec provided this complete pumping system to the contractor, KG Walters, and to the Truckee Meadows Water Authority.
This project is a new lift station handling low flows in the Santa Ana Delhi Channel in Newport Beach, California. This system collects stormwater in a 10’ inner diameter (ID) wet well that reaches 32’ in depth. In the bottom of the well, three Ebara 20 horsepower (HP) submersible pumps sit ready to pump out the water.
Many projects are brought to us by either a municipality or a contractor that has been hired for the project by another agency. In the case of the Old Highway 99 project, R&G Excavating, the contractor hired by David Evans & Associates, brought the project to Romtec Utilities.
