Romtec Utilities provided two stormwater pump stations for the Torrance Memory Care Housing unit in Torrance, California.

Jacobsen Development Group are the owners who developed the Torrance Memory Care housing project.

Romtec Utilities worked with the engineer, JT Engineering on designing the sizing and configuration of both pump stations to fit the needs of the project. Romtec Utilities was also specified as the supplier for the pump stations.

Dominion Construction was the general contractor while E & R Construction was the installing contractor. Romtec Utilities worked directly for E & R Construction, and we were very pleased with the smooth installation process.

The first stormwater lift station features:
– Precast 6′ ID x 10.66′ deep wet well
– Duplex 5hp Ebara Submersible Pumps
– Primary Level Sensing: NOLTA Floats (4)
– External Standalone Isolation Valves
– Primary Controller: Alternator Relay
– NEMA 4 Painted Steel

The duty point for the first lift station was 320gpm @ 23.7′ TDH.

The second stormwater lift station features:
– Precast 6′ ID x 13.75′ deep wet well
– Duplex 5hp Ebara Submersible Pumps
– Primary Level Sensing: NOLTA Floats (4)
– External Standalone Isolation Valves
– Primary Controller: Alternator Relay
– NEMA 4 Painted Steel

The duty point for the second lift station was 280gpm @ 24.5′ TDH.
