A new HRSG system required 3 industrial pump stations to provide water for its processes. This HRSG blowdown pump station needed to handle extreme pumping conditions.
V.C. Summer Nuclear Station|Jenkinsville, SC|35 GPM - 33.6' TDH
This package lift station was configured to handle low flows of industrial process water used for nuclear power generation. This lift station was one of the earliest systems to be installed during the construction of two new reactors at the plant. Submersible grinder pumps in a duplex configuration and a below grade valve assembly comprise the principal mechanical operations of the station. An outdoor control panel utilizes floats for primary liquid level-sensing, and an autodialer for communications and alarm notification.
Dan River Steam Station|Eden, NC|300 GPM - 20' TDH
Duke Energy replaced the Dan River Steam Station with a new gas fired power plant and needed a new pump station to handle medium flows of blow down water from the heat recovery steam generator.
Food Process Lift Station|South Bend, Indiana|225 GPM - 156.3' TDH
Romtec Utilities designed and supplied a food process lift station for a $40 million facility expansion by a spice manufacturer in South Bend, Indiana. The upgraded infrastructure supports a new production line and handles complex chemical and solid waste streams for food manufacturing.
Condensate Pump Skid|Nederland, Texas| 80' TDH
Romtec Utilities designed and supplied a fully engineered condensate pump skid for an industrial hydrogen production facility in Nederland, Texas. This skid-mounted condensate pump system was delivered as a prefabricated, pre-wired pump package tailored to meet the demanding operational, material, and safety requirements of the oil and energy sector.
