This wastewater lift station was designed to meet the standards of the Lakehurst Naval Air Station while remaining cost effective. A duplex pump configuration utilized submersible 7.5 HP Weil Slicer Pumps to handle suspended solids in the sewage. A UL listed control panel was designed and manufactured in a NEMA 4 enclosure for outdoor operation. Nolta floats were used for the in-well liquid level sensing. The below-grade structural components were designed and supplied precast concrete vaults painted with a marine epoxy exterior coating to prevent moisture incursion.
Federal Training Center|Bruswick, GA|40 GPM - 15' TDH
This was a true lift station replacement by installing a new package lift station “in the hole” of the removed wet well. Submersible pumps in a duplex configuration were included to meet the low sewage flows from the federal training facility. The system valves were installed in the discharge piping inside the wet well to reduce cost and simplify the system. An outdoor alternator panel handles the controls for this package lift station. It was designed with floats for liquid level sensing and a basic alarm.
The City of Shafter|Shafter, CA|110 GPM - 28.4' TDH
This package lift station is part of a sustained plan to expand the collection system of a large sewage treatment plant completed in 1999. The medium flow is handled by submersible solids handling pumps in a duplex configuration. A pigging port, plug valve, shut off valve, mechanical indicator, back flow actuator, and swing check valve are all contained in a below-grade valve vault. An outdoor control panel includes an autodialer for communications, conductive probes for level sensing, and an intrinsically safe barrier for in-well electrical controls.
Federal Training Center|Bruswick, GA|150 GPM - 30' TDH
This replacement wastewater lift station was designed to meet the medium sewage flow requirements of this federal training facility. Submersible solids-handling pumps in a duplex configuration pumps the effluent through in-well valves and out a three-inch force main. An outdoor alternator panel handles the controls for this package lift station. It was designed with floats for liquid level sensing and a basic alarm. The wet well is accessible with a traffic-rated hatch.
Del Norte County | Eureka, CA | 220 GPM - 36' TDH
To extend the sewer system for Crescent City in Del Norte County, this sewage lift station was added to a new gravity line and force main. Duplex submersible chopper pumps pump the sewage to an existing gravity line and on to treatment. An easy-to-access below grade valve assembly contains the check and plug valves. An outdoor PLC panel is connected to a customer-supplied generator and is also protected by a customer-supplied shelter. Primary liquid level sensing is by a pressure transducer with floats as a backup.
