Pomona College in Claremont, California needed this new stormwater pump station to handle a wide flow range of runoff.
Indian Springs Resort|Calistoga, CA|6,800 GPM - 15.7' TDH
The Indian Springs Resort needed a new pump station designed to handle high flows of stormwater runoff from a collection storm drain.
Utica East Ohio Midstream LNG Plant|Kensington, OH|75 GPM - 67' TDH
Utica East Ohio Midstream needed two new pump stations to handle low flows of stormwater runoff at its new Kensington Plant in Ohio. To responsibly contain potentially hazardous stormwater from the topsoil, these pump stations were designed with double-wall fiberglass wet wells with interstitial leak detection. Both pumping systems included corrosion resistant components and sensors due to the potential presences of LNGs in the stormwater runoff. Pumps were engineered with 7.5 hp Ebara pumps in a duplex configuration, and different impellers were specified for each of the two pump stations meet slightly differing head requirements.
Utica East Ohio Midstream LNG Plant|Kensington, OH|150 GPM - 59' TDH
Utica East Ohio Midstream needed a new pump stations to handle low flows of stormwater runoff at its new Kensington Plant in Ohio. To responsibly contain potentially hazardous stormwater from the topsoil, this pump station was designed with a double-wall fiberglass wet well with interstitial leak detection. The pumping system also included corrosion resistant components and sensors due to the potential presences of LNGs in the stormwater runoff. Pumps were engineered with 7.5 hp Ebara pumps in a duplex configuration, and a UL listed control panel was supplied with added cable lengths for installation outside of NFPA classified spaces near the pump station.
Contech Plant|Redding, CA|660 GPM - 24.3' TDH
Contech Engineered Solutions needed this pump station to pump medium flows of clean water from a Contech filtration system to a nearby treatment pond. This system was designed with 5 hp Ebara pumps in a duplex configuration. A precast concrete wet well includes a pedestrian rated hatch and safety grate for reliable fall protection. Valve “cans” were included in the design and supply of this system for an economical control valve option. The control panel was a UL listed device in an outdoor enclosure, including a pressure transducer control device for redundancy.
