A new private apartment building complex was being developed to meet the increase in population and demand for housing in the Lakewood township.
Romtec Utilities was contacted by a project consultant looking for solutions for a 93-unit apartment complex as it needed a new wastewater lift station. Romtec Utilities coordinated with the engineer to get our preliminary design details and budget approved before proceeding with the proposal and contracting.
This was a very fast-moving project which Romtec Utilities was able to deliver upon.
The owner and developer of the apartment complex was JR Squan, LLC. The civil engineer was FWH Associates, while the installing contractor was A to Z Site Contractors. FWH Associates is a Full-Service Land Development, Land Design, and Diagnostic Engineering Inspection Firm based out of Toms River, New Jersey.

The lift system features a duplex configuration of 5hp Ebara submersible pumps and an FMX21 pressure transducer.
Romtec Utilities was proud to be part of this wastewater lift station in Lakewood, New Jersey for the developer and the various players as we designed and supplied the entire lift system. As part of our process, we also sent a site advisor to the location during installation of the wastewater lift station. We also provide start up and training on the system.
Training is a key service for the long-term success of any pump station, and we make sure that after your system is commissioned and fully tested, your staff all receive training. These hands-on demonstrations are very helpful for operating staff and help ensure they are equipped with an understanding of the lift system operations.
