The Santa Ana Mountains are noticeable throughout the city.
This stormwater lift station project is for a new business park being developed by Caprock Partners in Norco, CA. The site has needs for a detention basin to contain storm events and a pump station to empty the basin into the public stormwater system. It will sit in the berm/access road of the detention basin.
Romtec Utilities was originally contacted by David Evans and Associates Inc. (DEA) – Tustin, CA office who were interested in a package solution for the pump station. This is a private project (funded by Caprock) with the intention of it staying privately owned.
Caprock Partners is a privately owned investor and developer of industrial properties in the western and central U.S.
David Evans and Associates is a leader in the design and management of complex transportation, land development, water resources, and energy projects nationwide.
The Installing Contractor was Paulus Engineering whom Romtec Utilities has worked with before on Washington Ave Lift Station Retrofit. We are glad to be doing another project with Paulus who specializes in wet utilities services and is based in Anaheim, California.
The General Contractor for this new business park development was Oltmans Construction.
Oltmans Construction is a full service general contracting company with specialties in commercial and industrial amongst others, based in Whittier, CA.
Romtec Utilities sales worked with DEA, Paulus, Caprock, and Oltman leading up to the contract although our primary contacts were with DEA as they contacted us first. All in all, this was a great process in which David Evans and Associates went to bat for us with the contractors and Paulus was happy to use our scope (design, manufacture, and supply).
