A new residential development in Ridgefield, Washington needed a wastewater lift station to handle medium flows of sewage from the new houses. 23 hp Flygt submersible pumps were engineered in a duplex configuration to meet the expected peak flow rates.
Pomona College | Claremont, CA | 370 GPM - 14.5' TDH
Pomona College in Claremont, California needed this new stormwater pump station to handle a wide flow range of runoff.
Kelso Village | Kelso, WA | 308 GPM - 112' TDH
A new development for a commercial park needed this wastewater lift station to connect the development to the municipal sewer system. Submersible centrifugal pumps in a duplex configuration were engineered to meet the medium flow high head conditions of the force main. This system needs to pump at a predefined flow rate in order to achieve the minimum force to reach the existing municipal sewer lines. The lift station control panel is a UL listed panel with redundant float controls wired for intrinsically safe use.
The City of Wenatchee|Wenatchee, WA|375 GPM - 125' TDH
This municipal lift station replacement was configured to handle medium flows of sewage from a large area of Wenatchee, Washington. This deep wet well was constructed from precast concrete and includes Tnemec interior coating. Vaughan Chopper Pumps in a duplex configuration were selected to macerate solids and alternate pumping cycles. A PLC with a touchscreen interface provides an easy and flexible control panel. The primary level-sensing device is a pressure transducer with floats backup level-sensing. This control panel also uses soft starters to reduce current inrush to the 30 hp pumps.
PG&E Power Plant|Colusa, CA|300 GPM - 23' TDH
These three package lift stations were designed to meet medium flows of industrial process water with added low flows of industrial stormwater and wastewater. Submersible centrifugal pumps in a duplex configuration were specified to meet the peak flows and water chemistry identified for each pump station. UL listed control panels with floats for liquid level-sensing and basic alarms comprise the system controls for the lift stations. These packaged lift stations were integrated into stormwater, processing, and wastewater plans for the new construction of the Colusa Generating Station.
