The City of Dana Point, California wanted to improve the Doheny Village neighborhood as part of a revitalization effort. One improvement included a new wastewater lift station to handle medium sewage flows from a new condominium development.
River Ridge Apartments|Tualatin, OR|270 GPM - 100' TDH
A new apartment complex required a booster pump station for maintaining the water pressure of potable water for the apartments. The booster station used 5 hp Goulds stainless steel, multi-stage pumps in a triplex configuration.
Bay Meadows | San Mateo, CA | 1218 GPM - 96' TDH
After the historic Bay Meadows racetrack closed down, a large residential development began that required this large wastewater lift station. A triplex configuration of 30 hp Flygt pumps handles the high flow rates of this system. A blower system was provided as part of the lift station odor control specified by the City. The lift station electrical controls comprised a PLC, float control level-sensors, and a backup generator. The panel includes an Arc Armor® enclosure that provides safe access to low-voltage controls and separate access for high-voltage circuits.
Oak Springs Ranch | Wildomar, CA | 262 GPM - 53.9' TDH
This packaged lift station was designed to meet the medium flows of sewage from an upscale apartment development. The concrete wet well was precast with Ameron T-Lock lining to protect the concrete from hydrogen-sulfide off-gassing. Ebara submersible sewage pumps in a duplex configuration provide redundant pumping capabilities suitable for the medium head conditions. This lift station also includes a bioxide odor control system in the design. A UL listed control panel provides the complete electrical controls with an autodialer for communications.
Commercial Development | Newark, DE | 60 GPM - 16' TDH
A commercial development in Delaware required this wastewater lift station to handle low flows of sewage from a new fast food restaurant and retail stores. Tsurumi cutter pumps in a duplex configuration macerate solids any in the wastewater to pass through the force main diameter. This lift station pumps a short distance with low head to a nearby gravity collection system that flows to treatment. A UL listed control panel was supplied for complete electrical controls with Nolta Niva floats for in-well liquid level-sensing.
