Krippner Homes needed a new lift station to handle medium flows of sanitary sewer from a new residential development.
Lakehurst Naval Air Station|Trenton, NJ|250 GPM - 24.77' TDH
This wastewater lift station was designed to meet the standards of the Lakehurst Naval Air Station while remaining cost effective. A duplex pump configuration utilized submersible 7.5 HP Weil Slicer Pumps to handle suspended solids in the sewage. A UL listed control panel was designed and manufactured in a NEMA 4 enclosure for outdoor operation. Nolta floats were used for the in-well liquid level sensing. The below-grade structural components were designed and supplied precast concrete vaults painted with a marine epoxy exterior coating to prevent moisture incursion.
Bay Meadows | San Mateo, CA | 1218 GPM - 96' TDH
After the historic Bay Meadows racetrack closed down, a large residential development began that required this large wastewater lift station. A triplex configuration of 30 hp Flygt pumps handles the high flow rates of this system. A blower system was provided as part of the lift station odor control specified by the City. The lift station electrical controls comprised a PLC, float control level-sensors, and a backup generator. The panel includes an Arc Armor® enclosure that provides safe access to low-voltage controls and separate access for high-voltage circuits.
Federal Training Center|Bruswick, GA|40 GPM - 15' TDH
This was a true lift station replacement by installing a new package lift station “in the hole” of the removed wet well. Submersible pumps in a duplex configuration were included to meet the low sewage flows from the federal training facility. The system valves were installed in the discharge piping inside the wet well to reduce cost and simplify the system. An outdoor alternator panel handles the controls for this package lift station. It was designed with floats for liquid level sensing and a basic alarm.
Kelso Village | Kelso, WA | 308 GPM - 112' TDH
A new development for a commercial park needed this wastewater lift station to connect the development to the municipal sewer system. Submersible centrifugal pumps in a duplex configuration were engineered to meet the medium flow high head conditions of the force main. This system needs to pump at a predefined flow rate in order to achieve the minimum force to reach the existing municipal sewer lines. The lift station control panel is a UL listed panel with redundant float controls wired for intrinsically safe use.
