These three package lift stations were designed to meet medium flows of industrial process water with added low flows of industrial stormwater and wastewater. Submersible centrifugal pumps in a duplex configuration were specified to meet the peak flows and water chemistry identified for each pump station. UL listed control panels with floats for liquid level-sensing and basic alarms comprise the system controls for the lift stations. These packaged lift stations were integrated into stormwater, processing, and wastewater plans for the new construction of the Colusa Generating Station.

San Andreas Sanitary District | San Andreas, CA | 75 GPM - 28' TDH

jweddell50gpm - 100gpm, Pacific, Schools, Wastewater

A new school needed this package lift station to pump stored wastewater every 24 hours. The sump was oversized by design to hold in excess of 5,000 gallons of sewage that would be pumped out at specified medium pumping rate to a low-level shutoff float control. The submersible solids handling pumps in a duplex configuration are accessible by a crane installed on the top slab. An outdoor UL listed control panel is tied-in to an onsite generator for backup power and utilizes an autodialer for communications.

The City of Brawley needed this packaged lift station to handle high flows of wastewater at its municipal treatment plant. 12 HP submersible pumps in a duplex configuration were used to meet the high flow pumping needs and a conductive probe was used for liquid level-sensing. The in-ground valve assembly and meter assembly were each located in separate vault structures for a cost effective design and easy access. An outdoor, UL listed control panel was protected from weather and sunlight by a six-post shelter, which also covers the sump entry hatch and electric disconnect panel.

The Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton needed this large wet-dry wastewater lift station to replace an existing system to allow the construction of new enlisted quarters. The new lift station included triplex dry-pit pumps to handle super-high flows of sewage from the facilities. An 8’ diameter precast concrete sump collects the sewage. Suction lines connect the sump to a 200-square-foot rectangular dry pit where the pumps, flow meter, and valve assembly are located. This lift station also includes an upstream grinder pit with a Macho Monster sewage grinder to pulverize solids into passable sizes.

jweddell1,000gpm - 5,000gpm, Municipal Collection, Municipal Lift Station Replacement, Pacific, Wastewater

This “turnkey” replacement lift station was designed, supplied, and installed to meet super-high sewage flow with infiltration and inflow requirements of a municipal wastewater lift station. Submersible solids-handling pumps in a triplex configuration were installed. The below-grade valve assembly includes plug valves, check valves, ball valves, a pumping port, and a pigging port. The UL listed control panel has an ultrasonic transducer for primary liquid level sensing, redundant float controls, and an autodialer alarm. VFDs were also included in the lift station controls.
